What we develop

Learning Mobility 1: Compost Recovery

The first learning mobility in the project is held in Tokat, Turkey, on 23-28 October 2022. Istituto Professionale Servizi per l’Agricoltura e lo Sviluppo Rurale “G.Fortunato” hosts the activity as the Italian partner in the project. 12 teachers and 12 students from Italy, Turkey, and the Netherlands participate in this activity focusing on Compost Recovery. Participants observe and discuss the following topics during the sessions.

  • Agricultural and geographical features of Turkey
  • Introduction and working principles of the Compost Recovery Facility
  • The stages of waste recovery, collection, and transport to the facility
  • The process of obtaining organic fertiliser from organic wastes
  • Introduction of the product, features and distribution
  • Benefits of natural fertiliser on nature and people
  • On-site visit to strawberry growing farm

Learning Mobility 2: Climate Change and Digitalization in Agriculture

The second learning mobility in the project is held in Potenza, Italy, on 15-20 May 2023. Tokat Gaziosmanpasa Universitesi Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi hosts the activity as the coordinator of the project. 12 teachers and 12 students from Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands participate in this activity focusing on Climate Change and Digitalization in Agriculture. Participants meet with local authorities and NGO representatives and discuss the following topics during the sessions.

  • Agricultural and geographical features of Italy
  • The current state-of-the-art in climate change and innovation in agriculture
  • Agricultural statistics, data, facts, figures, comparison and contrast
  • Case studies and solutions
  • Creating content and dissemination of project

Learning Mobility 3: Waste Transformers

The third learning mobility in the project is held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on October 2023. ILA hosts the activity as the Dutch partner in the project. 12 teachers and 12 students from the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey participate in this activity, focusing on Waste Transformers. Participants study the following topics during the sessions.

  • Agricultural and geographical features of the Netherlands
  • The ecosystem of circularity in Amsterdam
  • Knowledge exchange on the circular economy
  • Recycling options
  • Innovative food waste solutions
  • Nijmegen city as a good practice of a particular garbage disposal system
  • Actors work with household and commercial garbage
  • Discovering items to put recycling or upcycling bin/cart at home, school, etc.
  • Basic guidelines and apps
