Cuttings Reproduction and Rooting Greenhouse
Reproduction of plants is of great importance for the continuity of the ecosystem. There are methods such as propagation by immersion, propagation by grafting and propagation by cuttings in the propagation of plants. In this greenhouse, the black mulberry fruit, which is at the forefront with its human health and economic importance, is reproduced with cuttings. The participants were informed about the propagation methods of the plants, and the process of propagation with cuttings from the cutting of the cuttings to the placement of the rooted plants in the seedling tubes was conveyed practically. Approximately 2 500 plants are reproduced with cuttings in one period in our greenhouse. In the method we use, the rooting rate is approximately 70%.

The “Our Future: Useful Recovery” project presents the ecosystem of circularity and explains how actors collaborate and share knowledge on the circular economy. The project studies recycling options, innovative food waste solutions, and household and commercial garbage disposal into liquid organic fertiliser.
